If you run events, a venue or a tourism business, the first question is usually simple: how do we get listed, and what will it cost? Here is a plain answer based on how Place Sociale works today.

Events are free and unlimited

Every organisation can publish unlimited events at no cost, whichever plan it chooses. That covers concerts, exhibitions, festivals, matches and shows. Whether you have one exhibition opening or fifty performances across the year, you can promote them all without extra fees.

The network is already sizeable. It currently lists 1,891 upcoming events, 894 venues and 2,692 cities, along with 9,856 artists and creatives.

Events and offers are different things

An offer is any activity, service or experience you want to promote: a guided tour, a trip package, a museum visit, an escape game or an accommodation. Offers are counted separately from events, and this is where plans differ.

  • Free plan: free forever, with no time limit. It includes 1 offer and unlimited events.
  • Pro plan: aimed at tour guides, tour operators, festival organisers, theatres, theme parks, art galleries and museums.
  • Pro Max plan: aimed at tourism boards, destinations, travel agencies, airlines, cruise lines and large venues.

Paid plans unlock more offers and extra features as your needs grow. Plans list options such as 10 promoted offers or unlimited offers, and a choice of 1, 5 or unlimited social and website links. We do not publish plan prices in this article, so please check the pricing page on placesociale.com for current amounts.

What you get when you list

  • Several apps at once: an item can appear on more than one platform. A museum exhibition might show on both a cultural agenda and a tourism app.
  • Search visibility: content is structured so it can be found through search engines such as Google and through AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude.
  • Multiple languages: the platforms are multilingual, so visitors from other countries can read your listing in a language they understand.
  • Analytics: track views and engagement to understand your audience.
  • Saved favourites: visitors can save what they like, and one login works across all Place Sociale apps.
  • Quality checks: the team monitors content for consistency and accuracy.

Which app fits your event?

Your listing can reach different audiences depending on the subject:

Paying, changing plans and refunds

  • Cards from Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted through Stripe. Invoicing can be arranged for enterprise customers.
  • You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the billing period.
  • If you downgrade and exceed the new limit, you will need to unpublish some offers. Events stay unlimited.
  • Paid plans come with a 14-day refund guarantee if you are not satisfied.
  • Registered nonprofits can ask about special pricing through the partner programme.

Individuals: the Ambassador route

If you are a guide, coach or local expert rather than an organisation, there is an Ambassador community. Approved Ambassadors can publish unlimited articles, videos and offers for free, with their name shown as author. You apply, the team reviews your application, and then you start publishing.

Getting started

The simplest path is to start on the free plan, publish your events, and add an offer. Move to a paid plan only when you need more offers. Begin at placesociale.com.
